Cellulose is the most abundant organic polymer on Earth and is an integral part of the cell walls of plants and many algae species. Cellulose is mainly used for paper production. The cotton waste consists of cotton fibres that are too short to be used in the textile industry. This is an ideal replacement for the everyday dishcloth, which will often use plastic in its production.
